Three ruin bars followed by two clubs, all within District VII, so no stop is more than a few minutes' walk from the last. Your guide accompanies the group throughout, from the meeting point to the final venue.

Why this one
Most tours of this kind movea hundred people at a time
Ours does not. These are the points guests raise most often before booking.
Most guests arrive on their own.There is no pressure to keep pace with the group, and arriving alone is the norm here rather than the exception.
Nobody gets lost
We count heads before every move between venues, and a WhatsApp group is created at the start of the evening through which everything is coordinated. If you lose the group, one message is enough.
Groups stay small
Thirty guests at the absolute maximum. You will not spend the evening searching for the group in a crowd, or waiting at a crowded bar.
Your guide is working, not partying
Your guide is working, not socialising. Someone sober and experienced leads the group from start to finish.
We only go to real ruin bars
Budapest has a well-documented problem with venues that inflate tabs and push overpriced drinks on visitors. We avoid them entirely. Every stop on this route is somewhere we drink ourselves.
We'll tell you where not to go
Ask your guide which venues to avoid for the rest of your stay and you will get a straight answer. It costs us nothing and spares you a poor night later in the week.

Can I pay by card?
Card payments are taken online only. At the meeting point we can accept cash alone, and coupons cannot be redeemed there.
What if I pay online and then can't come?
Notify us at least four hours before we meet, so by 16:45, for a full refund. After that point we are unable to refund, though we would still appreciate knowing.
What should I bring?
Cash, if you are settling on the night; small notes help us depart on time. Otherwise nothing beyond what you would normally carry on an evening out.
Do I have to drink?
No. The shots are included rather than compulsory, and nobody on our team will press a drink on you. A number of guests join for the venues and the company rather than the alcohol.
What if I get separated from the group?
A WhatsApp group is created at the start of the evening and all coordination happens there. We also count heads before each move between venues. One message in the group and we will tell you where to find us.
Can I book for a big group?
Up to thirty on any given night, with a second guide joining above twenty so nobody is left behind. Send us your numbers and we will arrange it.
How late can I book for tonight?
Same-day bookings are usually fine. The group meets at 20:45, so earlier notice helps, but short notice is rarely a problem.
